Maintenance Worker (Casual, Call-In; Non-Exempt) 09/17/09

Reporting to and under direct supervision of Environmental Services Coordinator or designee, maintains grounds, facility, performs skilled work in the repair, replacement, refinishing, and maintenance of equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.  Follow established policies and procedures and as directed by supervisor to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    -Current Hawaii Drivers License required.
    -Minimum one-year high school education or diploma required.
    -Ability to speak clearly and to read and write English.
    -Current physical and tuberculosis clearance.
    -U.S. citizen, lawful permanent alien resident or alien authorized to work for specified time by U.S.
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    -Post-High School Vocational/Specialized Training preferred
    -Two years general maintenance experience preferred
    -Ability to repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry preferred
