Dietary Aide (Casual, Call-In; Non-Exempt) 02/04/12
Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal and state standards, guidelines, and regulations for long-term care. Ensures foods are prepared and served in palatable and appetizing manner, and in accordance established standards and diet restrictions. Primarily responsible for all cold food preparation, nourishments, and floor stocks in resident dining rooms, staff lounge, and administration. Must have understanding of all therapeutic diets and resident requirements.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-One (1) year experience in food service operation.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Ability to speak clearly and to read and write English.
-Current physical and tuberculosis clearance.
-U.S. citizen, lawful permanent alien resident or alien authorized to work for specified time by U.S.
- DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-One (1) year experience in skilled nursing or medical facility preferred.
-Satisfactory completion of State Department of Health Food Safety Certification Course preferred.
